John V. Davis is this year’s recipient of The Melvin Jones Fellowship. Named after the founder of Lions Clubs International the Fellowship is LCIF's highest honor and represents humanitarian qualities such as generosity, compassion, and concern for others. 

John has been an active member of the Club for 15 years, was past President in 2000 and today is committee chair of PRIDE2 ABC, an activity of Lions volunteers who have Pride squared, i.e. pride in representing the Lions club in helping to keep Nashville sidewalks clean, pride in their work and ABC (Ambassadors of Brown County) promoting tourism by their activity and engaging visitors.  Pride2 ABC has logged over 2000 hours of street sweeping since its inception".

Lion Stu Huffman, a member since to 1971. DeWees is retired Nashville
postmaster and Huffman is employed at the Indiana Department of
Education.
